FEES

The recommended fee for seeing a psychologist is $260. Our fees are much lower than the recommended amount. Our aim is to offer quality and affordable psychological services.

In order to maintain our high level of service and continue running our practice, we are NOT able to provide bulk billing or “free” services at our practice. Our services require a gap fee to be paid over the Medicare rebate amount.

Couples sessions are 50 minutes. No Medicare rebate applies.         $148

FAQ

  • Do you accept the Mental Health Plan so I can claim Medicare?

          Yes

  • Do I need a Mental Health Plan referral to make an appointment?

No.  You can pay the full fee as a private patient.

  • How do I get a Mental Health Plan?

Make a longer appointment to see your doctor to discuss your mental health. Your doctor will assess your mental health and make a referral.

* We must have a copy of your mental health plan before you attend if you want to claim the Medicare rebate.

If you're not sure what to do, please give us a call. We're happy to help you.

Assessments

Call us to discuss your needs. NDIS has particular requirements for the diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Usually, a multi-disciplinary team is required for children which would include a speech pathologist and a paediatrician as well as a psychologist. There are additional Medicare items available.

If you are an adult wanting an autism assessment and don't need to access NDIS

the assessment process is simpler.

Please call us to talk about your needs and how we can help you.
